West Woodway Estates is full of spectacular single-family homes. Let’s take a journey into a couple of the homes in the neighborhood. We will call them home number one and home number two. Home number one has a great deal of features that would appeal to most families. There is a game room, but that could easily become whatever kind of room you want it to be. Make it double as an office, a spare bedroom, a hobby room, a future nursery, etc. The front and back yards are very spacious, especially the back yard. The front lawn is beautifully decorated with tall trees. The big backyard has a large swimming pool with a slide and a small hot tub. There is also a welcoming cabana next to the pool to assist in keeping you cool during the summer. This charming home features an elevated dining area, unique light fixtures, shiny black granite countertops, and a breakfast bar. The laundry room has plenty of moving room and storage space for the whole family to make good use of. So many memories can be made in the backyard: family barbeques, pool parties, friendly get-togethers, one-on-one time with the kids, family game night, and more. You can get really creative with it. The cabana would be a good family meeting spot or a place to have dinner outdoors on Sunday evenings. Put a tree swing or hammock (or both) up in the front yard to make good use of the abundant trees and shade. So many memories can be made in this wonderful family home.
Home number one has a lot to love about it, but we do like to keep our options open, so let’s take a look at home number two. Home number two is another one that is fortunate enough to have trees decorating the front lawn. More than a dozen, in fact, but it doesn’t overwhelm the vast yard. There’s still room to run around and play, swing, or relax in your dream hammock. You could even set a porch swing out front to read a book on. These trees provide an abundance of shade to the yard and home to help keep the home cool and conserve energy. Inside, there is high-quality hardwood flooring. Walking into the living room, you find vaulted ceilings increasing the breathing room. The home looks classy all around. The brick fireplace is another energy efficient resource to keep the home cozy and warm during the winter time. The large master bathroom has dual vanities, so you don’t have to worry about your toiletries or someone else’s crowding your area. The bedrooms allow for plenty of walking room. Even if you have a California King, you’ll be able to dance around your bedroom to the beat of your favorite song. The dining room area is complimented by a stunning chandelier, adding a special touch of elegance to meal times. When you walk into the backyard, there is a large open space with a ton of room for improvisation. Add a playground set, a trampoline, a swimming pool, host parties, events, etc. If that isn’t your thing, do what you love. You could even create a giant flower or vegetable garden. Grow your own herbs and make your own truly homemade salads. You can do anything with this amount of space in your backyard.
These homes are both both great examples of the homes you will find in West Woodway Estates and other Woodway neighborhoods. Families would enjoy not only the homes, but the safety of the neighborhood and all of the fun they can have nearby. Woodway is home to the Carleen Bright Arboretum where there are multiple events and activities for children throughout the year as well as concerts. Waco, right next to Woodway, is home to the Cameron Park Zoo, Hawaiian Falls waterpark, multiple museums, parks and more. Family vacations can be taken on a short one and a half hour road trip to Dallas or Austin. Even San Antonio is just under three hours away with Sea World, a much larger zoo, Six Flags, and so much more. Family vacations are much more enjoyable when you can get there on a single tank of gas.
